Open Sprints is having us out to put on the 2010 GoldSprints World Championships in Las Vegas this year at InterBike! This is going to be the biggest show we've ever put on in Las Vegas. The venue is huge, has a giant stage and a massive sound system. Better yet, it's one of the best tequila bars in the Western US. Top top it off, it's also a full service Mexican restaurant.

More details about this event specifically can be found at www.gswc2010.com.

We've got $10,000 worth of prizes and major cash awards for the fastest guys and fastest girls. Special appearance by HR Muffin'stuff and the Pedal Panties Girls will be there too!

We'll have give aways and stupid fun games all night... even if you're not racing you're in on the action.

More details will be coming this week! Check back!

Mike's Bike's SAN RAFAEL Friday Night JUNE 4th

If you know me, you know I like to help!

This time I'm leveraging the AWESOME FUN POWER of GoldSprints Roller Racing to help the Marin County Bike Coalition.

To make the evening of racing, beer, music, heckling, food & fun EVEN BETTER I'm flying in H.R. Muff'N Stuff from LA... She's a singer and performer who will entertain you with songs about riding her bikes in the city and dropping the boys off the back. The Pedal Panties Girls are performing as well... so you don't want to miss this TOTAL ENTERTAINMENT PACKAGE! DJ's spinning all night, more beer than even we can drink, hot food and PRIZES GALORE.

500m, 1000m, BEER SPRINTS, Catch-the-Bunny, Couples and Team Beer Sprints and more!

Top prize is a beautiful brand new full carbon top-end Cannondale road frame and fork. We've got Capo Forma gear, Sheila Moon gear and more. Free bike parking, clean bathrooms and loads of cool people await you. Racing starts at 7 and goes till the beer is gone or they kick us out. Mike's Bikes is right off the 101 in San Rafael.

Spectating and heckling are free, racing is just $5 and it goes to support the MCBC, you can't do it better than that...

What else are you going to do this Friday night? Go to some movie that will be playing for another month? Go to some lame bar and see the same tired old faces? Stay home and play the same hand of Scrabble?

COME OUT AND PLAY WITH US!

GoldSprints in Venice Beach at Predator Cycles...

We went down to Pasadena today to talk with some engineering students from CalTech about the GoldSprints software engine. On super short notice, we set up an event at Predator Cycles in Venice Beach. We found some tweaks to make the events run better and saw some really fast times.

VeloCity Tour in LA at Orange20 bikes!

The guys at Orange20 had us down to run GoldSprints at Squid's Velocity Tour. Orange 20 had an amazing array of flossy bikes to oogle while we tlaked about how to best set up and run the event. LA brought out their finest riders and we got a lot of smoking fast times turned until until we quit racing after 3am. We blew through a few kegs of beer and had a great time doing the event. The space they had for us was an impressive hive of urban art to boot and the DJ's lined up were on the spot every time with the drops.
